Susan Murray is a leader, researcher, consultant, and professor of leadership. Her unique journey from a primary classroom in Canada to a government boardroom in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is echoed in her work and vision for success. She is known for her calm yet direct approach, with a focus on results. Murray has taught Executive Education at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and graduate studies in leadership at Memorial University, Newfoundland. She is formerly an award-winning principal and school district leader. She serves on the board as Chair of Kids Eat Smart Foundation, and is a coach with G(irls)20 Canada.

Her consultancy spans the globe, including China, the UAE, Ireland, Portugal, Canada, and the United States. Her leadership work with both private and public sector leaders focuses on credibility, vision and impact. Murray works closely with the UAE federal and local governments to review the leadership excellence of their senior public leaders in achieving their strategic goals and vision.

Murray was educated in Europe and Canada. She earned a B.Ed and M.Ed in Education with honors from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Doctorate of Business in Leadership from Henley Business School, in the UK.
