Biography
Shirin Ariff, B.A. (Eng. Hons.), B. Ed., OCT has been an educator for over 22 years. She is a six time international best-selling author, an international speaker and has over 3 million global views of her viral speech Love Conquers All. As an award-winning Life Transformation Coach, she equips her clients with tools and distinctions to access their power and live a life of authenticity, joy, freedom, and dignity. Ariff’s heart-wrenching story of dramatic ups and downs and her remarkable journey of resilience as a mom of four children is etched in her international best-selling book, The Second Wife. Ariff struggled with facial paralysis, survived cancer, and endured two failed marriages. She uses her lived experiences, acquired wisdom, and extensive training to empower others and is lovingly called “Coach Yoda.” Ariff’s life story, Beauty and the Beast, from the Dream Big docuseries by Ethnic Channel Group, was featured at the New York International Women’s Film Festival and short-listed at the Toronto International Women’s Film Festival in 2021. Ariff also serves her community as the Founder of 7 Arcs Creative Inc. by creating inspiring books and anthologies. Her most recently curated best-seller anthology, Cancer Heroes, is a collection of lovingly woven stories of hope and profound transformation. Ariff has crafted and delivered several workshops and individual and group coaching programs under her Be Your Own North Star brand, imparting transformative learning. She is the Founder of the proclaimed National Cancer Hero Day – a global fundraising initiative for cancer research.
