Recognized nationally and internationally for her research and scholarship on health workforce policy, health leadership, health worker migration, midwifery and maternity care, Bourgeault holds a Chair in Gender, Diversity and the Professions at the University of Ottawa. Her dedication to knowledge exchange is evidenced with a number of consultations to Provincial Ministries of Health, Health Canada, the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization.
