Biography

For 20 years, Krista Patriquin has been studying how bats respond to natural and human-caused environmental change. She has worked with members of forestry, as well as oil, gas, and wind energy. She has presented her work at regional, national, and international conferences. She also gives presentations about bats and conservation challenges to school groups of all ages, as well as naturalist groups, museums, science centres, and NGOs. Patriquin teaches introductory and upper-level university biology courses.
