Biography

Dr. Tamara O'Doherty is a lecturer in the School of Criminology. She teaches a variety of law-related course, including criminal law, human and civil liberties, and introductory law courses and maintains a strong mixed-method research agenda relating to victimization, criminalization, human trafficking, and sex work. O'Doherty has been a part of several ISTLD projects, exploring such topics as harm-reduction and resiliency-building in lectures, Indigenous student experiences in SFU classes, creating supports for TA's and Faculty, and alumni reflections on their experiences at SFU.
