Biography

Maite Taboada is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics at Simon Fraser University. She specializes in discourse analysis and computational linguistics, including discourse relations and sentiment analysis. Her current work focuses on the analysis of online comments, drawing insights from corpus linguistics, computational linguistics, and big data.
