Melissa Milkie is Professor of Sociology at the University of Toronto, and Chair of the Graduate Department. Her research focuses on how women's and men's work-family lives relate to well-being; especially parenting. She is an expert on time use, and has examined the dramatic changes in how people spend time over the decades in the award-winning book, Changing Rhythms of American Family Life.
