Biography

Moon Jerin, is the founder and CEO of Doctrina, and co-founder and CEO of moonheaven.io, a platform to promote block chain education and scaling start-up with block chain technology. She is the co-organizer of Toronto Artificial Intelligence meet-up. She is also the entrepreneur in residence for Hult Prize Foundation in Lebanon and London, United Kingdom. She started her professional career working for H.J. Heinz and later was appointed as a project manager for Shell. In 2013 she joined Amazon UK for the launch of Kindle HD. She has worked with Tiffany &Co, Mitsubishi Chemical, Pfizer, Airbus and many other large corporations to assist them with solving their marketing and global innovation challenges. Jerin was the founding board member of IEEE and also the President of IEEE-Women in Engineering. She served as Provincial Board member for Ontario Public Interest Research Group. She has served as a mentor for Hult Prize finalists and many other Toronto-based start-ups. She is advisor for the Business in the Streets in Toronto, where she helps underrepresented population in Toronto to successfully launch their business. In 2017, Jerin launched The Moon Zone – a platform to raise awareness about sustainability in Fashion, Cosmetics and Technology. She received her MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Hult International Business school in 2015.
