Biography

Lindsay Schoenbohm is an Associate Professor of Earth Science at the University of Toronto. She is an expert in understanding how mountains grow, and how climate and tectonics interact to shape those mountains. She also does important research into earthquake hazards, particularly the record of past earthquakes. She has projects in Argentina, Tibet, the Himalaya, and Turkey. Lindsay holds a BA in Geology from Carleton College and a PhD from MIT.
