Biography

Philippa von Ziegenweidt was a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa and worked as a management consultant and financial analyst in Netherlands and Belgium before moving to Canada in the mid 90's. She is currently the spokesperson for CAMPP, a residents' group advocating for a responsible location for the Windsor-Essex region's new hospital. She's an environmentalist and an advocate for food security and sovereignty. She is an organizer of a chicken "clucktive", promoting food security, processing waste food and spent grains into eggs and fertilizer. She is active in her local community on a variety of initiatives promoting local food and waste reduction.
