Biography

Helen Ries is a sibling caregiver, a community activist, and an independent consultant. Through her advocacy and consulting practices she is working to create systems and communities that better support our most vulnerable citizens. Ries is a program evaluator in the not-for-profit and community sector. She is also the co-founder of the Sibling Collaborative, a support network for the next generation of caregivers for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Guelph and a Graduate Diploma in Program Evaluation from the University of Ottawa.
