Biography

Anne Lagacé Dowson has an MA in Canadian Studies (History) from Carleton University and a BA from l'Université d'Ottawa en Sciences politiques et Études des femmes. She is fluently bilingual in English and French, grew up in Toronto, and studied in Ottawa and Rimouski. Known for her championing of the under dog, Lagacé Dowson is a proponent of literacy and public programs. She has hosted on public and private radio, animated many and various public events, and appeared on TV in both languages.
