Biography

Jennifer Walinga is a professor in the School of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University, and an Organizational Consultant with Integrated Focus Consulting. As a speaker, educator and facilitator, she draws upon her experience as an Olympic rower and Commonwealth, World and Olympic Gold Medalist. She has held many leadership roles in education and sport and is a champion of advancing human rights. Her areas of research and professional expertise include organizational culture, communication and change; creativity for sustainable and innovative practice; values based leadership; and leadership development through sport.
