Biography

Dr. Sylvie Albert is a Professor of Strategy and was the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Winnipeg. Her research interests include smart/intelligent cities and community development. She has also been involved in online learning and has published on pedagogical practices.

Prior to her career in post-secondary education, in which she has focused on building new programs and partnerships with industry, Albert spent 15 years in community economic development, involved in industrial and tourism attraction as well as social and technology development.
