Biography

Heather Lacey has a background working and overseeing services to children, youth, and adults living with disabilities and their families. She has also worked in the area of child and family services specifically in First Nation communities, and has leadership and management experience in non-profit organizations.

Lacey is the Executive Director ABLE2: Support for People with Disabilities, an organization that helps increase self-esteem, foster greater community participation and reduce isolation felt by people with disabilities (youth, adults, and seniors). ABLE2 sets up one-to-one matches between volunteer advocates and people with disabilities that can have profound effects on both.
