Biography

Elsbeth Mehrer is Coordinator of Policy & Strategy, Affordable Housing at the City of Calgary. Prior to that, she was Chief External Relations Officer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary and was responsible for government and community relations, fund development, and communications. She also served YWCA Calgary as Vice President, Engagement & People. She’s held leadership positions with Calgary Economic Development where she provided the business community with data, research, and policy alternatives. Before CED, Mehrer worked as an engagement manager for Critical Mass, a Calgary-based interactive marketing firm.
