Biography
Teresa Dias is a registered pharmacist with over 20 years of professional experience in community pharmacy in Toronto. She has been an Ontario Pharmacists Association Drug Information pharmacist since 2008. She realized that women lack knowledge regarding menopause and the years leading up to it, so she became a certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP) in 2003, through the North American Menopause Society (NAMS). She founded MenopausED, a company dedicated to raising awareness and providing education to help women navigate the menopause transition. Dias provides 1-on-1 consultations in person and online, and speaks on several topics related to menopause. She provides education about menopause in the workplace, where education of employees and employers is essential for women experiencing menopause and its impact on their working lives.
