Padina Pezeshki: Zapping bone cancer with radio frequency waves
Padina Pezeshki is a biomedical engineering PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, who is working on developing and validating radio frequency techniques to help patients with cancer that has spread to their bones.

Dr. Pezeshki has authored over 40 journal and conference papers, delivered several national and international invited lectures, and is a co-inventor of four medical devices that have been patented. Dr. Pezeshki has also presented at a 2012 TED talk.

Biography
Dr. Pezeshki is a biomedical engineer who has been the driving force in a number of clinically-translated projects in the areas of dental implants, spine, cancer, and mental health. She has four medical device patents, over 40 peer reviewed publications, and a number of presentations. Pezeshki enjoys solving human health problems and is currently active in the digital health space.
