La Pre Daria Boffito, titulaire de la Chaire de recherche du Canaada en procédés mécanochimiques intensifiés pour la conversion durable de la biomasse, utilise une approche innovante, basée sur l’intensification des procédés , pour augmenter l’efficacité des processus de transformation chimique de la biomasse.

Daria Camilla Boffito, professeure adjointe au Département de génie chimique de Polytechnique Montréal, présente le projet "Intensification des procédés et catalyse". 


Professor Boffito is head of the Engineering Process Intensification and Catalysis (EPIC) lab at Polytechnique Montréal. Her research interests include process intensification, biomass conversion, gas-to-liquids (GtL) and power-to-liquids (PtL) technologies, catalysis and catalyst design, photocatalysis, material synthesis for drug delivery, and water treatment. Boffito has a wide network of national and international academic and industrial collaborations. She is holder of prestigious Canadian and international awards, such as Emerging Leaders in Chemical Engineering (2019), the Canada Research Chair in Intensified Mechano-Chemical Processes for Sustainable Biomass Conversion, the NSERC Banting post-doctoral fellowship, the PBEEE FRQNT fellowship, GreentTalents2012 (German government) and the Endeavor Research Fellowship-Australia Awards 201).
