Jane Watson joins me to talk about and the recently launched Toronto Tech Study, an innovative approach to exploring the persistent problem of workplace sexual harassment.

Jane is a Toronto-based HR professional with experience in startups, not-for-profits, and public companies, and the founder of the Aperta Project, which seeks to change the narrative on sexual harassment.

The Toronto Tech Study is a collaboration between The Aperta Project and the Cynefin Centre, with support from researchers Eleanor Snowden and Anna Hanchar.

Biography

Jane Watson is the Founder of the Aperta Project, an initiative aimed at helping organizations and leaders better understand, prevent, and address workplace sexual harassment. She is also a Master's candidate in Concordia's Human Systems Intervention program, and a Senior Director at People Partners at Klick Health. Over the last 15 years, she's worked with companies in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, including regional and national leadership roles in Human Resources, and a role on the executive leadership team of an innovative, fully remote tech start-up.
