Biography

Rebekah Mohr is a Security Senior Manager for Accenture, specializing in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security. She provides clients with services such as defining a company-wide ICS Security Program, conducting ICS Security gap assessment or risk modelling workshops, and providing materials and tools to close ICS Security gaps, complete ICS Security Remediation Programs, and conduct ICS Security Run & Maintain Assurance. Mohr brings experience gained from almost a decade working at Shell, where she held multiple security leadership roles, first as the ICS Security lead at one of North Americas largest refineries, and later as the regional technical expert for the Americas, where she provided guidance to dozens of Upstream and Downstream assets. During her tenure at Shell, she led the development of their global risk assessment methodology and co-authored the resulting cyber security standards for system suppliers, capital projects, and operating assets. She also contributed to the design and implementation of one of the world’s largest corporate ICS security remediation programs. She was nominated by Shell as their global technical focal point for the development of the industry’s first ICS competency accreditation, the Global Industrial Cyber Security Certification Program (GICSP). Mohr has been recognized with multiple industry accolades, including the 2017 Young Women in Energy, the 2017 SANS People who Made a Difference in Cyber Security, the Executive Women’s Forum Women of Influence, and the Global Petroleum Show Emerging Leader awards. Mohr is driven to contribute as a thought leader within the ICS security community, to be a role model for the next generation of young women in STEM, and for those who are considering cyber security as a career. Mohr holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Math, Statistics and Computer Science from McGill University and a Master of Science degree in Statistics from University of British Columbia.
