Biography

Dr. Anelyse Weiler's research addresses environmental and social justice issues in food production, with a particular focus on agricultural workers in Canada and the United States. Her interdisciplinary projects have included community-based research on local food and migrant justice movements, alternative meat production, the revival of North American craft cider, food sovereignty, health equity, and international comparisons of farm labour migration programs. Weiler actively contributes to several organizations across Canada advocating for food security, employment standards, and migrant rights.
