Biography

Dr. Margaret Schabas is Professor of Philosophy at the University of British Columbia. Her primary field of research is the history and philosophy of economics. She has published five books and over forty articles. She holds a teaching award, a Killam research award, and served as President of the History of Economics Society. She has delivered over 10 keynote lectures and is on the editorial board of a dozen journals. She is currently Senior Advisor to the Provost on Academic Freedom.
