Biography

Bolanle Alake-Apata is an Economist of the Labour Market Information Council (LMIC), an organization tasked by the Forum of Labour Market Ministers (FLMM) to improve the timeliness, reliability, and accessibility of Canadian labour market information. She contributes to the planning, design, and execution of research projects related to advancing the quality of Canadian labour market information. Prior to joining LMIC, Alake-Apata conducted health economic research at McMaster University, contributing to the publication of an economic textbook. She also brings market research expertise gained from her previous role at Startup Canada. Alake-Apata is an executive member of the Board of the Ottawa Economics Association.
