Alexa Joy pushes the boundaries of social thought and public discourse, urging consumers of media to think critically in a time that commands attention for social justice and accountability of those in power. Joy's work amplifies Black voices, critical race theory, and inquiries of race and intersectional oppression. Joy is an MA candidate in Sociology at The New School for Social Research in New York, contributor and host of CBC Uncensored and an activist.
