Biography
Karen Sandhu is the Director of Cybersecurity, Technology and Privacy Risk for Absolute Software. She has 15 years of risk management experience. Her expertise is in information security and security operations, data privacy, emerging technology risk, cloud security, security incident response, governance and internal controls. Sandhu raises awareness and aims to bridge the gap of women in cybersecurity roles, and has served as a board member for the ISACA Vancouver Chapter as Director, Diversity and Inclusion. She designed and led the SheLeadsTech Vancouver program, and was the recipient of the 2020 ISACA Innovative Chapter Program Award by ISACA International. She is also involved in a number of SheLeadsTech initiatives at BSides Vancouver, BC AWARE and with Girl Guides BC Canada.
