Shayna Rector Bleeker

Shayna Rector Bleeker recently became an entrepreneur, bringing 20 years experience as an intrapreneur with corporations, NGOs, media and local government. In 2020 she co-founded a groundbreaking start up, 7 Generation Capital, which is providing turnkey execution support and mobilizing financing for medium and heavy duty fleet operators that want to join the electric vehicle (EV) revolution. As the Partnerships and Development lead at 7 Generation Capital, Rector Bleeker is simultaneously creating a new financing landscape for zero emission transportation with governments, investors, and partners, and scaling the operations of a fast-growing company. Rector Bleeker also founded SRB Consulting, where her work focuses on communications, dialogue, engagement, and forging new paths. She draws on her understanding of large organizations, global issues and municipal contexts thanks to her time as an intrapreneur leading a creative media partnership program and communications department within global energy firm Shell, and then in a leadership role with the City of Vancouver. Rector Bleeker is also a board member of Nestworks, a new family friendly co-working concept that aims to more closely integrate career, family and community needs. She has a BA from the University of British Columbia, a Marketing Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Erasmus University – Rotterdam School of Management.
