Biography
Lianne Castelino is an award-winning journalist, communications and video production professional, and author.
She is the founder of Where Parents Talk, an award-winning community of parents striving to inspire confidence in moms and dads so that they can parent with relentless optimism to raise happy, thriving children.
Conceived in 1997, the company has produced multiple how-to parenting DVDs and other resources used as teaching tools in pre-natal classes on three continents, and previously sold in big box retailers in North America.
As of July 2021, Where Parents Talk with Lianne Castelino airs weekly on 105.9 The Region, a radio station based in Markham, ON.
In 2008, Castelino created WINE (Women's Investment Networking and Entrepreneurial) group. The subject of a feature in The Globe and Mail, WINE gathers like-minded women to meet monthly to share and exchange ideas.
One of Canada's first diverse national television personalities, Castelino was among the first female sports journalists in the country, working as a reporter and anchor at CTV Montreal sports for over a decade.
Castelino speaks English and French.
