Biography

Karen Tang is a PhD student in Dalhousie University's Clinical Psychology program. She has published research on gambling disorder and its association with other behavioural addictions as well as a call to action on equity, diversity, and inclusion in academia. She is currently preparing a dissertation examining video game addiction, stigma, and culture. She aspires to be a clinical psychologist and has experience working with young adults and adults in various mental health settings.
