Biography

In 2008, Barbara Payne started her work in health and environmental advocacy regarding the biological effects of electromagnetic fields ("electrosmog"). In 2016, she founded Electromagnetic Pollution Illnesses Canada Foundation (EPIC), a non-profit that raises awareness about everyday, artificial, biologically-active electromagnetic fields, aiming for a significant reduction in emissions and exposures in indoor and outdoor environments. Payne is also a member of Canadians For Safe Technology and Prevent Cancer Now.
