Biography

Molly Krishtalka is a lawyer at Alexeev Attorneys Inc. She provides legal advice and representation in a wide range of legal proceedings from inception through trial and appeal. Her work focuses on defamation and media law, access to information and privacy law, appellate litigation, public and constitutional law, contractual disputes, class actions, manufacturer’s liability, and private international law. Within her media law practice, Krishtalka advises and represents media organisations and journalists in free expression and court openness matters, including opposing publication bans, defending defamation claims, and accessing court and government documents. Within her public law practice, Krishtalka is particularly interested in matters involving administrative law, constitutional law, and feminist legal issues. She has appeared at all levels of court, including before the Supreme Court of Canada. Krishtalka co-taught the Advanced Civil Law Obligations course at McGill University’s Faculty of Law from 2018-2020. In 2014-2015, Krishtalka clerked at the Supreme Court for the Honourable Justice Andromache Karakatsanis. She is a member of the Quebec and Ontario bars and is fluent in English and French.
