Biography
Dr. Audrey Girouard is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Technology and the Associate Dean Research for the Faculty of Engineering and Design at Carleton University. She leads the Creative Interactions Lab, a multidisciplinary research team in human computer interaction that considers how people use tangible devices and wearable technologies, understands their applications, with a focus on accessibility. Her lab co-designs with people with disabilities to create and evaluate new devices that offer new input capabilities. She received the CS-Can|Info-Can Outstanding Early-Career Computer Science Researcher Award and the Carleton Outstanding Faculty Graduate Mentor Award.
