Biography

Allison Sandmeyer-Graves is the CEO of Canadian Women & Sport—the leading authority on women and sport in Canada. Sandmeyer-Graves works with leaders from sport, government, business, media, and beyond to create an equitable and inclusive sport and physical activity system that empowers women and girls—within sport and through sport. Sandmeyer-Graves previously spent a decade as a senior director with WE.Org (formerly Free The Children) where she helped create a global movement of youth engaged in active global citizenship. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta and Master of Arts in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University.
