Biography
Krista Pawley convenes the conversations that matter for communities across Canada and around the world. A public policy and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience and a background that has taken her across sectors, industries, and time zones, Pawley brings together diverse stakeholders in conversation and collaboration toward a better future. Pawley is the co-founder of Wavemakers, the co-founder of SingularityU Canada, and the co-chair of IdentityNORTH. Pawley has worked with global organizations, including Parliament, the Government of Canada, Scotiabank, The MasterCard Foundation, Aimia, and Singularity University. With an emphasis on promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging, Pawley's work focuses on building connections to and support for advancing equality, social justice and respect for human dignity. She does this by catalysing diverse communities of stakeholders to engage in inclusive learning experiences that enable current and future leaders to understand, prepare, and shape a more sustainable future. Since 2015, Pawley has been a Board member of the Equitas International Centre For Human Rights Education. She is a Senior Non-Resident Fellow of the Atlantic Council Global Tech Centre, a Member of the Stimson Centre’s Alfred Lee Loomis Innovation Council and a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader.
