Biography

Aicha Touré is an international development practitioner and a public-policy specialist. Her work is informed by a broad interest in the Human Rights – Media Development nexus. She has worked and volunteered for a wide-range of human rights organizations in North America and Sub Saharan Africa. Touré research and work centers around gender and race-mainstreaming in international development policies and the interplay between freedom of expression and development in sub-Saharan Africa.
