Biography
Sylvia Ng is the CEO of ReturnBear, Canada’s first end to end returns solution, and a notable leader “to watch” in Canada’s tech ecosystem. With over 18 years of experience in technology, Ng noticed a gap in the e-commerce industry, where retail returns were costly and difficult for merchants. Now, Ng is on a mission to make retail returns accessible for everyone, and better for the planet. She has held past roles at eBay and Google, and most recently was a General Manager at Shopify where she worked on products to help early stage e-commerce merchants grow their businesses. In conjunction with her current role, Ng is also the founder of Amidira, a Toronto-based startup helping patients and caregivers fight cancer through gift boxes and lifestyle content. Ng is an active speaker at tech industry events such as Women in Product, SMX, and Big Data Toronto, and was named one of Bay Street Bull’s 30 Women of the Year in 2022.
