Biography
Stéfanie Tremblay is a doctoral candidate in physics who investigates brain health using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in exercise science. Her research interests are in leveraging multiple MRI contrasts to characterize the fiber tracts that connect different brain regions, also known as white matter, in individuals at risk of neurological disorders. Tremblay's research focuses primarily on developing novel multivariate approaches to analyze MRI images to obtain a more comprehensive view of the impact of various diseases and risk factors on the brain. Her doctoral research is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
