Biography

Holly Mathias is a PhD student in the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta and trainee with the Inner City Health and Wellness Program. Mathias' research examines the toxic drug crisis (sometimes referred to as 'overdose crisis') from a rural Canadian perspective. In particular, Mathias focuses on experiences of family members, access to formal and informal supports and services, the role of gender, and drug policy issues.
