Biography

Sun Ryung Park is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of British Columbia, Canada. Her research focuses on climate change policies and the green transition in Northeast Asia (Korea, Japan, and Taiwan) within the context of U.S.-China competition. She aims to explore how shifts in policy elites' perceptions—or the lack thereof—have either accelerated or hindered this transition. Park has published several peer-reviewed articles and op-eds in various magazines. She has also shared her expertise on Korean politics with English-speaking audiences.
