Biography
Ciara Raudsepp-Hearne is WCS Canada's Director of Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs), is based in Montreal and speaks both English and French. She leads WCS Canada's national initiative to identify sites that are critical to the persistence of biodiversity - information that is central to Canada's ability to meet its commitments under the Global Biodiversity Framework. KBAs are already being used in the country's most foundational policy strategies, including the National Biodiversity Strategy and Environment & Climate Change Canada Protected Areas Strategy.
