His interest in the Canadian cultural landscape was an underlying presence throughout his career. Art in Action encourages readers to be proactive and, as Jack would say, “Never turn down an opportunity to serve!”

Biography
■ freelance journalist, writer, producer, researcher, political columnist, and digital storyteller with bylines for print, digital, radio, and podcast.
■ proud to have served multiple federal agencies and government departments, multiple national Indigenous advocacy organizations including the Native Women's Association of Canada and the Assembly of First Nations, as well as several non-profit organizations in a communications and media relations capacity.
