Biography

Ally Stocks has six years of experience working in the environmental sector, including field research and biological monitoring programs focused primarily on marine ecosystems, small-scale fisheries, and biodiversity assessments. She has experience developing, implementing, and participating in research projects in British Columbia, Ontario, Vietnam, and Indonesia. She is a hardworking, positive team member, and natural leader. Stocks has extensive experience working with the public and volunteers in a variety of sustainability-focused programs, including activities aimed at engaging youth with nature. She was recently listed as one of Canada’s Top 25 Environmentalists under 25 for devoting time to conservation initiatives that engage the public and encourage sustainable environmental practices.
