I was born in Israel in 1965 and grew up in Mexico. My BA in English Literature is from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I then went on to do graduate work in English and Comparative Literature at Georgetown and Princeton University (PhD 1996). I have been teaching at McGill University since 2001 with a joint appointment in the departments of English and Jewish Studies.
